To help patient achieve their gals and deal with the changes surgery and weight loss can bring, the Bariatric Surgery Program provides a five-year follow-up plan that includes, medical evaluations, support group, dietitians, continuing education and a host of out patient service.

As a part of its commitment to the most-advanced surgical technologies, Monmouth Medial Center refurbished four spacious operating rooms with built-in high-definition flat screen monitors and pull-down laparoscopic accessory modules. The sleek new state-of-the-art design eliminates crowding at the operating table, allowing easier access to the patient and providing a safer environment. In addition to specially designed operating rooms equipped to handle the morbidly obese patient, the bariatric surgery program offers examining rooms and a waiting area designed to accommodate these patients.
