Monmouth Medical Center's Medical Day Stay Unit includes two endoscopy/colonoscopy
suites offering a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic services
and two recovery rooms. A third suite on the unit is for Endoscopic
Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP).
The Medical Day Stay Unit is staffed by registered nurses who
provide pre- and post-procedure teaching and observation. In the
unit, sedation is provided by the Monmouth Medical Center's Department
of Anesthesiology for outpatient diagnostic procedures.
