Steven J. Binenbaum, M.D., earned his medical degree at St.
George’s University,
School of Medicine, Grenada, W.I. He trained in general surgery at Monmouth Medical
Center, Long Branch, N.J., where he served as chief surgical resident.
He is fellowship in minimally invasive/ laparoscopic surgery at St.Luke’s–Roosevelt
Hospital, New York. His professional affiliations include the American College
of Surgeons and the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons.
At Monmouth, he earned the Dr. Cyril S. Arvanitis Award given to the surgical
resident
who has epitomized the important virtues of dependability, efficiency and promptness
in the conduct of his work.
