Because the latest technical tools are necessary for state-of-the-art performance, Monmouth’s surgical suites are equipped with the most advanced laparoscopes; video cameras, light sources and other specially designed surgical instruments.
Monmouth Medical Center's Medical Day Stay Unit includes two endoscopy/colonoscopy suites offering a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic services and two recovery rooms. The Medical Day Stay Unit is staffed by registered nurses who provide pre- and post-procedure teaching and observation. In the unit, sedation is provided for outpatient diagnostic procedures.
