Glenn S. Parker,
M.D., FACS, received his medical degree
from University of Medicine and Dentistry
of New Jersey. He completed his residency
in general surgery at the SUNY-Kings
County Medical Center and completed
a fellowship in colon and rectal surgery
at University of Connecticut School
of Medicine, St. Francis Medical Center.
Board-certified
in colorectal surgery, Dr. Parker
has special expertise in advanced
laparoscopy and open surgery for colonic
and small intestinal disorders including
diverticular disease, inflammatory
bowel disease and colorectal carcinoma.
He also specializes in the treatment
of hemorrhoids, prolapse, anal-rectal
disorders/physiology and colonoscopy.
He currently serves as treasurer of
the medical staff at Monmouth Medical
Center and as a clinical assistant
professor of Surgery at Drexel University
School of Medicine and University
of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey
Robert Wood Johnson School
of Medicine.
