George S. Constantinopoulos, M.D.,
received his medical degree from the University of Athens
School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Mulenberg
Hospital and at Monmouth Medical Center, where he was
named chief resident of surgery. He completed a fellowship
in peripheral vascular surgery and kidney transplantation
at Drexel University.
Board certified in general surgery,
Dr. Constantinopoulos has special expertise in carotid
artery surgery, aneurysms, endovascular procedures, angioplasty
and vascular stents,.
A fellow of the American College of
Surgeons, he has been the director of the vascular laboratory
at Monmouth since 1981. Currently, Dr. Constantinopoulos
is the chairman of the division of vascular surgery at
Monmouth, as he has been for the past fourteen years.

Alfonso Ciervo, M.D., received his
medical degree from the State University of New York Science
Center at Brooklyn, where he completed his residency in
general surgery as the chief resident. He then went on
to complete a fellowship in vascular surgery at the Englewood
Hospital and Medical Center.
Dr. Ciervo has been published in the
field of vascular surgery. He is a member of many professional
medical organizations including the New Jersey and New
York chapters of the Society of Vascular Surgeons.
Currently an attending surgeon
at Monmouth, Dr. Ciervo has been involved with Resident
Conferences for general and vascular surgery at the Medical
Center. In 1999, he won first place in the New Jersey
Vascular Surgery Research Forum and was honored with the
Thomas W. Pollock Award the previous year. Among his special
achievements, Dr. Ciervo was named in the 2001 edition
of America’s Registry of Outstanding Professionals.

Kevin S. Lopyan, M.D.,
received his medical degree from the University of Medicine
and Dentistry New Jersey Medical School. After completing
his residency in general surgery there as well, he went
on to complete a fellowship in vascular surgery at Newark
Beth Israel Medical Center.
Certified by the American Board
of Surgery, Dr. Lopyan is now an attending vascular surgeon
at Monmouth Medical Center. He is an associate fellow
of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the
Monmouth Surgical Society.
